About Sarah Tagholm

Sarah Tagholm is the author of When Will My Woodlouse Wake Up?, We Are the Wibbly, Wolves in Helicopters, Sam Francisco, King of the Disco and Brenda’s Revenge.

Sarah has a very unusual head. If she doesn’t do creative things it falls off, so it’s really incredibly fortunate she never had a job in data entry. Mischievous children, nature, and all things bizarre are the inspiration behind her stories, which tend to be odd, ridiculous or, more often than not, both. Sarah lives in Cornwall with her family, two cats and a fourteen year-old albino toad called Cuckoo (in real life).

If not reading or writing, she can usually be found in, or on, or under the sea.

About Sam Francisco, King Of The Disco

Superstar DJ Sam Francisco and his feline friends are throwing the best party. But the music is keeping Buzzkill Bill awake. He sends his dogs to shut it down. Then pest control, the fire brigade and the police!

When Bill pulls the plug things look bleak, but luckily it’s the people (and the cats) who make a party, not the fancy equipment.

About Brenda’s Revenge

Because she’s a cat, Brenda needs help with things like getting dressed, table manners and trampolining! Brenda is just a cat, so she isn’t good at hairstyles or getting dressed or good table manners… and her handwriting is terrible! Luckily she has one loving owner who is going to help her.

Will the little girl who owns Brenda ever learn that it isn’t nice to make someone do something they don’t want to? Maybe her new neighbour can help…
