Meet multi-million-copy selling, award-winning author (and former Children’s Laureate) Cressida Cowell, creator of the How to Train Your Dragon (also a DreamWorks film and TV franchise) and The Wizards of Once series.

Cressida will introduce her newest book, WHICH WAY ROUND THE GALAXY, talk about her inspiration and give writing and drawing tips to everyone.

Cressida has won numerous prizes including the Blue Peter Book Award, the Hay Festival Medal for Fiction and the Ruth Rendell Award for Championing Literacy. She’s been an ambassador for the National Literacy Trust for over a decade. Her events are energetic, inspiring and unmissable!

Cressida will sign all books purchased after the event and there’s a free sticker sheet for all copies of the new book sold. We’ll have plenty of copies of Cressida’s new books and her backlist available to purchase on the day.

Cressida Cowell is the author and illustrator of the bestselling the How to Train Your Dragon, The Wizards of Once and Which Way to Anywhere books series, and the author of the Emily Brown picture books, illustrated by Neal Layton. She was Children’s Laureate from 2019 – 2022.
