We are delighted to welcome superstar illustrator Paula Bowles back to Storysmith to celebrate the release of her second Superkitty adventure written with Hannah Whitty, Superkitty Versus Mousezilla!
If you’re a fan of Paula’s work (and we certainly are) then you’re going to love what happens to Superkitty this time around – join us for a morning of storytelling and craft, perfect for kids aged 3+.

About Paula Bowles
Paula grew up in Hertfordshire, UK, with a house full of animals, and always loved drawing, reading and playing in her imagination, so she studied illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and became an illustrator. She now lives in Bristol, where she has worked as an illustrator for over 10 years with clients including Bloomsbury, Child’s Play and the National Trust.
She is very excited to have picture books published with Simon & Schuster and Nosy Crow, including the Superkitty books, written by Hannah Whitty.
When she’s not drawing, Paula loves going for long walks which help her to think up new ideas. She also loves cycle trips in the fresh air, being snuggled indoors with a good book, discovering new music, and dancing the Lindy hop. And she once learned to walk the tightrope!
