The Shop

We stock a tightly curated range of fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. Our non-fiction sections include cookery, art, nature, science & thought, society, interesting lives and history. We’re also very happy to provide (and receive) recommendations.

We’re proud to serve delicious Triple Co Roast coffee and Swedish treats from Fika Bristol, and encourage you to linger with both while browsing.

Not to mention NEW and highly recommended Ocean Vuong and Alejandro Zambra 🐺NEW WINDOW🐺 Happy publication day to this hectic little masterpiece - Fernanda Melchor’s Paradais is transgressive, immersive and strangely tender in its depiction of two teenagers who manifest a deeply troubling escape route from their stunted lives. Not for the faint of heart but necessarily so, it’s a big recommend from us. Just a little visual tour of the UNRELENTING series of bangers on our tables and shelves this weekend. If anyone was suspicious of a post-Xmas book lull then fugeddaboudit you dorks, spring has sprung! Look at this medley of excellence! 🎟LET’S TALK EVENTS🎟
